1. Short Description
DFSL
brings 3 laser based sensors:
1.
Perimeter Laser Sensor (PLS)
2. Laser
Fence Sensor (LFS)
3. 3D Mini Drone Detector (3D MND)
PLS and
LFS are for detection of humans and vehicles in the ground stations. PLS
and LFS create IR virtual curtains, unseen by naked eyes.

Figure 2 - Laser Fence Sensor - LFS
3D MND
is for detection of intruding mini drones in teh air space above the critical
infrastructures.
Figure 3 - 3D MND
3D MND is
LIDAR mini drone detector. It creates a three-dimensional invisible
hemispherical laser dome (cupola). Any drone that flies into the laser screen
and crosses it and stays in the cupola, is continuously detected by the 3D MND.
Once detection happens, the slaved PTZ camera is commended by 3D MND to look
into the direction of intrusion, acquire the drone in its field of view and
continuously track the drone.

2. Main Purpose and Benefits
PLS and
LFS are designed to detect the ground-based intrusions. As an intruder crosses
the IR curtain, an alarm is sounded and the track of the intruder is stored on
the computer of the control centre.
3D MND
is designed to create laser half cupola around it. As and when an intruding
drone enters into this space the drone is detected, an alarm is sounded, and
tracked by the detector and its path stored in the computer if the control
centre.
3. Main Functions
Main function of PLS and LFS are for detection of
ground-based intrusion.
Main function of 3D MND is for
detection of aerial intrusions by mini drones.
4. Integrations with other Tools
PLS, LFS and 3D MND will be
integrated via JSON with 7SHIELD Platform.
PLS and LFS will transfer range and
azimuth bearing information of the intruder.
3D MND will transfer range, azimuth
and elevation angles of the intruding drone.
5. Infrastructure Requirements
PLS, LFS
and 3D MND come with their own pedestal stands. They can be set up at any
location of interest.
Power
supply of 220V AC and good internet connection are needed to operate the
sensors.
Sensors
will be operated by DFSL operators.
